A common misunderstanding is to think of the church as a building or location. In Scripture, however, the word translated “church” (ekklesia) refers to the gathered people of God: those who have been called out by Christ and united to Him by faith (Matthew 16:18; 1 Peter 2:9–10). The church is not defined by a place, but by a people redeemed by Christ, indwelt by His Spirit, and gathered for worship, fellowship, and the proclamation of the gospel (Acts 2:42–47).
As a congregation, we gather weekly on the Lord’s Day to worship God through the preaching of His Word, prayer, and fellowship. We currently rent a space for our larger gatherings, which take place at Fagraþing 2a on Sunday mornings at 11:00. Following the service, we share a free meal together, an opportunity to build relationships, encourage one another, pray, and continue the work of discipleship throughout the week.
You are warmly invited to join us. Come with your questions, doubts, and whatever burdens you carry. We would love to welcome you, to walk alongside you, and to share with you the hope of the gospel: how Jesus Christ saves sinners, transforms lives, and calls us into His people.
Our life together, however, is not limited to Sunday. Throughout the week, we gather in various settings for Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and discipleship. These smaller gatherings are not separate from our worship, but an extension of it; spaces where we continue to sit under God’s Word, care for one another, and grow in Christ together (Hebrews 3:12–13; Colossians 3:16). We encourage you to explore our Ministries page at the top to learn more about the different ways you can connect and participate in the life of the church.
